3M 6001 Organic Vapor Cartridges provide respiratory protection from certain organic vapors and gases when used with 3M reusable respirators. These are specifically designed to suit the 3M 6291 P100 Respirator as well as all 3M 6000, 6500, 7000, and FF-400 Series Half & Full Facepiece Respirators or 3M™ Scott™ AV-3000 HT and AV-3000 SureSeal facepieces with 3M™ Scott™ AV-632 Bayonet Adapter. Approved by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) for use in environments with specific organic vapors, the cartridge is labeled with the color code “black” within the NIOSH system.

Plus, these cartridges are compatible with 3M™ 6000 Series Half Facepieces, 6500/6500QL Series, 7500 Series, 6000 Series Full Facepieces, FF-400 Series, 7800 Series, 3M™ Scott™ AV- 3000 HT and AV-3000 SureSeal Facepieces with AV-632 Bayonet Adapter, thus helping to reduce inventory needs.

Gas and vapor cartridges use carbon particles to adsorb contaminants, filtering the air that you breathe. 3M™ has designed our cartridges to be easy to breathe through and long lasting by optimizing the layers and depth of the carbon bed, geometry of the cartridge body, and carbon particle size.

Not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) or contain hazardous levels of airborne particulates.
